Setup & Timezones

Quiet hours prevent Notifly from sending notifications during a time window you define. Any notification that would send during the quiet window is held and delivered once the window ends — it is never dropped.

Quiet hours are a Pro plan feature.

Go to Notification Settings in the Notifly dashboard and find the Quiet Hours card.

  1. Check Enable quiet hours
  2. Set your Start time — when the quiet period begins
  3. Set your End time — when notifications resume sending
  4. Click Save quiet hours

Times are set in 30-minute increments and evaluated against your Shopify store timezone, which is displayed on the settings page. To change the timezone, update it in your Shopify admin under Settings → Store details.

Quiet hours work correctly across midnight. Setting a start time of 10:00 PM and an end time of 8:00 AM suppresses notifications through the night and resumes at 8:00 AM the following morning — all evaluated in your store timezone.

When a trigger fires during the quiet window, Notifly holds the notification until the window ends. Once quiet hours end, held notifications are delivered. If a trigger condition reverses while a notification is held — for example, a price reverts to its original value before the quiet window ends — the notification is cancelled as normal.

Uncheck Enable quiet hours on the Notification Settings page and save. Notifications will send immediately when triggered with no time restrictions beyond any configured delay.
